Family Day!

On Saturday, Feb 19, Richard and I went skiing with my sister Megan in Fernie. I should say I skied and the other two went snowboarding. It's been many years since I've been to Fernie, over 10 years to be exact! The last time I skied there was when Richard and I were dating! So I was excited to go. Richard's parents came to our house early Saturday morning and we were off. My parents came and switched them off at 1pm and watched them till we got home. The kids had a blast with their grandparents.

We got to the ski hill around 9:45am. It was FREEZING cold out. I was beginning to doubt what I dressed in! Richard had decided on the way to Fernie that he was going to try snowboarding for the first time. So he got a two hour lesson with his ticket. We rented our stuff and Megan and I said bye to Richard and planned on meeting up with him at lunch time.

So Megan and I had a map in hand and were figuring out which chair we wanted. After looking and figuring we thought we found the right chair that would take us to many green and blue runs. We got on and it started going up and up and up. I was starting to worry that we got on the wrong chair. We got were getting to the top and I started panicking because the chair wasn't slowing down. Megan was just sitting there but she told me later that when she panics she goes silent. The chair was flying and right when I was ready to scream "STOP" (I know so grown up of me!), it slowed down at the last second so we could get off. It seriously freaked me out!

We slid over to the big map and my stomach dropped. We had gotten on the wrong chair lift. It was all black and blue runs. Megan and I looked at each other and laughed. We decided on what we thought would be the easiest run. Then away we went. We got stuck a little bit later because we should of been going fast to go through this flat spot, but we didn't realize it. So we started going again down a steep part. Megan was ahead of me. I was concentrating on the hill and looked ahead and thought it was going into a straight flat part again. So I straighten my skis so I got going fast to get through it. Well I didn't realize I was suppose to do a 90 degree turn, and Megan said all she saw was a flash of yellow fly by the corner. She screamed my name, but I didn't hear. I soon realized that I hit a dead end! I was flying we I saw the big snow wall, so I fell on my butt, to try to stop myself. I went flying up the wall and ended up going over backwards and landing on my back and sliding. It took me a bit to collect all my things and get turned around to go the right way. I found Megan who was yelling my name to see if I was ok. It was a crazy crash and we had a really good laugh about it later!

We made it down the hill and decided to go try some easier ones! We found a lift we both liked and stayed on that hill till lunch time. We saw Richard a few times and saw that he was doing awesome with the snowboarding. So after lunch he came up the hill with us. We caught on so quick and did great! We skied for a few more hours. Richard did an AWESOME crash at the bottom of the hill, where he caught an edge and did a few cart wheels. It was kind of funny!
My camera batteries died, but I found this picture and this is what I look like skiing......ha ha ha! Yeah I'm really good, eh?!

The first time Richard came on the lift was kind of interesting. I was sitting in the middle between him and Megan. Megan was explaining to him how to get off with a snowboard on. I wasn't too worried. It got to the top and Richard gripped my leg really hard (thinking it was the chair) and pushed off. Well I couldn't move, and it happened so fast. By the time I went to get off my skis were off the ground and I jumped! I didn't land very gracefully! I ended up on my back. Richard turned around and said, "What's wrong with you, can't you get off a chairlift!!" I then told him that it would of been easier to get off if he wasn't using my leg as the chair. He then realized what happened and we all had a good laugh!

Pretend that's Richard and I up on the ski lift talking about how we are going to safely get off the chair! We both had yellow coats on, so I thought the picture was perfect!

All in all it was a very fun, tiring day. After skiing in Whitefish and Fernie in the last month, it's kind of gotten me excited about skiing again. I'm hoping to go one more time before the end of the season. It's been so much fun! Richard slept most of the way back while Megan and I chatted all the way home. It was a fun Saturday! Thanks for the suggestion Megan! Oh I took my camera and tried to get some pictures but my battery died, so no pictures!

On Monday, which was Family Day, we went in to Cardston and spent time with Richard's family. We went to the Remington Carriage center where they had free admittance and lots of fun things to do for kids. We spent a few hours there and the kids had a blast playing all sorts of different games. Brianna playing the game "Plinko". They got to drop 6 discs and try to land it in the sunshine slots. The got 2 tickets for every disc in the slot.
Cadence's turn. She was very serious and tried really hard and the guy told her that she did the best yet. She landed 4 out of 6 and got 8 tickets!
Abbi's turn. Look at her face she got a butterfly painted on it!
DJ checking out the pretend horse and carriage, trying to decide if he wants to go in it!
He decided it was safe and got pretend to drive the horses with Abbi. They had a blast with it!
Walking back to the burb with their Grandma Spencer. They each got to buy something with the tickets they got, so they were all happy!

Then we went over to Great Grandma and Grandpa Spencer's house for dinner. Then we just hung out and talked and laughed. Lisa and Curtis had the bright idea of hiding in the closet and scaring the kids. It was hilarious. I got some good videos of it. We had a fun time chatting and laughing!

I had decided that day that I was going to take the kids to Kalispell with my mom and Stacey and her two girls. They were going for a night to do some shopping. So I had booked a room at the hotel they were staying at. I had cleaned the house and packed things up and was ready to go by 8:45am Tuesday morning. My mom came and away we went. I then realized that it was snowing and the weather wasn't the greatest. But we kept going. Richard called me when we were halfway to Cardston and said he got everything he needed done and he was coming with us. I was surprised and excited. So we waited in Cardston and he drove there. Then we were off. The drive down was crazy! The roads were pretty bad and visibility was horrible. But we made it. We followed Stacey and mom.

We did a bunch of shopping then went and checked into the hotel. Then we went out for supper. Stacey's girls wanted to go swimming afterwards. But by the time we got back to the hotel all my kids were done. It was about 8pm and they were ready for bed. They all went to sleep so good and we all had a good nights rest.
Brianna and Cadence having their breakfast in the hotel's breakfast room!

In the morning after breakfast we swam for quite a while. It was at this time that we were hearing about the horrible accident that happened the night before on Mariah's Pass. A bad blizzard had blown into Kalispell and the weather wasn't very good. It was because of this that we decided to stay one more night. The kids were getting restless and a little crazy. DJ needed a nap and everyone else was hungry. Oh at about this point I saw Cadence run up to one of the hotel workers and say this, "I have one question for you." After the lady said yes, Cadence stuck her hands on her hips and said, "Where you hide that candy?" It was kind of funny. The lady got tired of all my girls taking the free candy from the desk, so she hid it. She didn't know how to answer Cadence, I just laughed!

So Richard stayed at the hotel with DJ and put him down for a nap. The rest of us went to McDonalds where we ate and let the kids play on the playground for about 2 hrs. It was the perfect place to let them run off some energy.

Then we stopped at Shopco and did some shopping. I realized that my girls were getting to the end of their ropes when Cadence started crying that her mouth hurt. She wouldn't stop so I told Stacey and mom that I'd see them at the hotel. So we went to the check outs where Cadence is standing there with her tongue hanging out of her mouth and she's trying to tell me that her mouth hurts. She just proceeded to stand there the whole time with her tongue hanging out. It was kind of comical and I'm sure the check out lady was wondering about Cadence! ha ha!

We got back to the hotel where Richard and DJ were having a case of cabin fever. So we went swimming. DJ finally warmed up to the water. He was being so cautious before. But now he'd run and jump into my arms. He was having a blast. I could not take my eyes off him because he always assumed I'd be right there to catch him. At one point he kept pointing to the hot tub so I got in and he jumped into my arms. It was so funny because his eyes about popped out of his head and he kept blowing (his way of saying hot)! Needless to say he didn't do that again! After swimming we went out to pizza for dinner.

Me, DJ, Cadence and Brianna having fun swimming in the pool.
The girls with Shaylee and Mikah, playing what time is it Mrs. Shark! They had a blast doing that!
DJ telling me to stop taking pictures and get in the water so he can jump in too!
Cadence had a blast swimming around and playing with the balls we brought too!

Then next morning after breakfast and swimming again. We packed everything up and came home. The weather was clear and the drive home wasn't bad at all. So I'm glad we stayed that extra night. It was a fun little trip and the kids had a blast. Plus I had fun shopping and getting some spring clothes. Now we just need the weather to warm up, here's to hoping! I'm so glad Richard came with us. It was a fun trip! I'm glad mom and Stacey were there too, my girls have a blast with Mikah and Shaylee! We only got in trouble by the hotel staff a few times. My kids can get a little loud!
Just before we left the hotel I took this quick picture. This is in the foyer of the hotel.
The drive home was good. DJ had a really good nap. I got him that hat he is wearing and he loves it. Don't you love all the stickers on my window, sheesh, drive me crazy!
So it was a fun 3 day getaway. It was only going to be 2 but this way we didn't have to pay any duty.Yeah!

Family Dance and V-Day!

This post is a couple weeks late, but oh well! On Monday, Feb 7, 2011 the kids school had their Family Dance. They do this every year and it's a fun thing to go watch. My girls have been practising hard every day they went to pre-school. They were so excited!

Of course the day of Brianna was so sick. I kept her home from school, hoping she could sleep it off and feel better in the evening. She was running a high fever all day. After supper I was getting Abbi and Cadence ready and Brianna wanted me to get her dressed and do her hair too. She wanted to go. I didn't have the heart to say no, so I got her all ready. I could tell she was feeling horrible. Just before we left she came up crying, saying she just wanted to go to bed. Poor thing. So her Grandma Spencer stayed home with her and DJ. I promised I'd tape the dances so she could watch them the next day, that made her very happy!

The pre-school was the first ones to dance. Abbi and Cadence were very excited. I took them down to the floor and video taped them. They did very good. It was so cute to watch! They did the Mexican Hat dance.
Their Abbi and Cadence dancing beside each other. The funny thing is Richard told me after that he only got a picture of Cadence, he couldn't find where Abbi was! I looked at the pictures and there is Abbi! It was kind of funny! He was looking for a pink shirt too. Don't you love Cadence's skirt. She has to wear it all the time!
Abbi told me afterwards that her feet got so tired. They would grab everyones hand and dance around in a big circle too! It was so cute!
You can see the back of Ali, Cadence and Abbi's heads as they are watching the kids dance!

We stayed and watched the rest of the grades do their dances too. Cadence kept asking me before we went if the "scary" song was going to play again. I kept telling her they are probably doing a different song. But no, the Grade 6's did Thriller again. They did a great job. The part that freaks poor Cadence out is the beginning when it's the weird music with all the zombies crawling out onto the floor. She clamped her hands to her ears and proceeded to SCREAM! She was terrified. I jumped up to take her out but my dad was right there and took her out to the hallway. They came back in after the dance but she was done. She wanted to go home "RIGHT NOW", in her words! So her Grandpa Paxman took her back to the house. We came not long afterwards. It was a fun evening.

The rest of the week my kids were all sick. I wasn't feeling the greatest either. So we basically all stayed home and took it easy. I did end up taking Brianna back into the doctors on Thursday because she still had a temp and was feeling horrible. Sure enough she had ear infections. Long story short it took a bit, but we finally got her some medicine and she is feeling better.

Friday we were all going stir crazy and ready to get out of the house for a bit. So I packed a lunch and loaded up the kids and we took off for Mt. View, where Chase was having his final basketball tournament. We watched him play two games and win the tournament. This was his first time back since he broke his arm. He played awesome and it was fun cheering for him! Way to go Chase!

I got the kids all bundled up in their winter coats and we walked out of the school. It was SO WINDY out. We were protected by the school for a bit then we were out in the open. It was so windy that DJ started falling, and I grabbed him. At the same time two of my girls (I think Cadence and Brianna) grabbed either side of me. The wind had caught them and they couldn't stop. The funny thing is I couldn't either and we were FLYING down the sidewalk. I was trying to stop all of us with no success. We flew right into the middle of the street (luckily it was a side street and not busy) and the 2 girls did a belly flop in a snow drift. It was crazy windy. They were all screaming and crying and I was trying to get them into the burb. But we made it, crazy wind!

On Monday the girls were so excited to go to school. It was Valentines Day! We spent the weekend getting their valentines all ready for school. I got each of my kids a cute little valentine gift. It was a animal box with chocolate covered animal crackers in them. They loved it! They all made me some cards through out the day (so cute)! I took them to school and helped each of them put their valentines in the right envelopes. They had so much fun! I learned from last year that most everyone puts something with their card, like a cookie or candy. So this year I taped a heart sucker to each one. It was cheap and easy! They girls loved helping me with it too!

They were very happy girls coming home. We sat at the table and opened their valentines. I read what each card said. It was so cute. They loved it! I then started getting dinner ready. I had this bright idea to make heart pizza's! I made a big one and then 4 small ones. The kids each got to make their own. Then we had fresh veggies with it too. I put those on a plate in a heart too! The girls thought I was the best mom ever!!
The girls helping me make their pizza's. Don't you just love their heart shirts that their Great Grandma and pa Spencer gave them?! I thought it was perfect for valentines day!
Putting the pizza sauce on their own little pizzas!

Richard came home with chocolates for me and the girls. They were yummy and the girls like it too! Abbi was so excited to open the card that Richard got for me too. I had to read it out loud. My girls are getting so big!

So that was our Valentines day. We didn't do anything special, but it was a nice day. It was cheap movie rental night. So I ran and got a movie and we relaxed and watched a movie together once the kids were in bed. It was a good day!

Big Boy Bed!

I knew this time was coming, but was hoping I could push it off a little bit longer. Since DJ is now potty trained he's decided that he's too big for his crib. He'd wake up screaming because he needed to go bathroom and sometimes I didn't wake up fast enough and he'd be so upset that he did it in his diaper. One day he just refused to get in his crib. So we took off the side railing and he slept on his toddler bed for a couple of weeks.

The only problem is he is getting too big and doesn't have much room to move around. He also LOVES to smush his face against the railing of his bed while he sleeps. So when we turned it into the toddler bed I slipped a child proof railing under his mattress. But when he'd lay right up against it, he ended up falling out of bed many times.
Here he is in his daybed sound asleep. His favorite thing to do is get all his books and look at them in his bed!

So we did a switch a roo of beds in our house. I went and bought Cadence a new twin mattress. Now she just sleeps on the floor and then in the morning after she makes her bed we slide her bed under Brianna's. It actually makes their tiny room alot bigger. They have space to play in there during the day. She loves it too. She calls it her magic bed!
There is Cadence sound asleep on her "new" bed! In the morning she makes her bed and I help her slide it underneath the bunk bed. It works perfect.
As you can see the room isn't that big. The girls have loved playing with their toys during the day in their own room! Before we just didn't have any room at all!

We gave her bed to DJ. It's perfect for him because I can put the railing on and it doesn't slide out because of the bed frame. So it works perfect. He loves it too!

So I decided to get the kids some comforters to fit their beds. Cadence and I found a steal of a deal in Walmart for Dora the Explorer comforters and pillow cases. They are normally $55 and I got them for $20 each. They were so excited and love to make their beds in the morning so we can see Dora! I looked for a Cars blanket for DJ but they weren't on sale. So last weekend in Kalispell I bought him a Cars comforter, with pillow case and bed sheets for $40. When I showed it to him he went and ripped apart his bed so I could make it with his new sheets!

He's done pretty good with his big boy bed. He loves the Independence. Thinks it's great. For the most part he does ok. But some nights it takes him forever to go to sleep. He stays in his room though. He'll poke his head out once in a while and tell me he needs to go to the bathroom. He cracks me up! I know he could go to bed in his underwear but he thinks he needs to have a diaper on, even though it's always dry in the morning. My cute boy sound asleep on his Cars bedding!
See how he likes to have his face against the railing! He used to squish his face against his crib railings and when he woke up he always had red lines on his forehead. At least this is alot softer!

I'm finding the only difficult thing is his nap time. If I had all afternoon and nothing else to worry about then it wouldn't be such a big deal. Because he takes FOREVER to finally go to sleep and wants to sleep till 3:30-4pm. Which doesn't work here, because I have to pick the girls up by 3:15pm and sometimes I'm the snack mom and have to be at the school by 2:30pm. I'm actually the snack mom a LOT! That's what I get for having 3 kids in pre-school! I enjoy going and so does DJ. But it means I have to think of clever ways to get him to go to sleep. For example after I drop the kids off at school at 12:35pm, I'll just go for a little drive and he will fall asleep. Then I'll carry him into his room and he'll have a good nap. So I've been trying to do that, but then it kind of messes up his good sleep patterns where he puts himself to sleep. That's probably why he takes longer at bed time. Oh well, I'd rather him have a nap, because he sure needs one. He missed it twice last week because he just played in his room. He then fell asleep at 4pm and I couldn't wake him up, so that made it a fun night! Silly boy!

His favorite thing to play with during the day is all his cars. He has a tool box that he puts all his "Cars" cars (the movie) in. He takes them everywhere. Between that and his basketballs it keeps him happy and busy. We found out what happens when DJ puts a car down the garbage disposal. I couldn't figure out why it was making such a crazy noise. I stopped it and pulled out all the little pieces.
This is what a car looks like after it goes through the garbage disposal.

So my little boy is not so little any more. Kind of makes me sad, but it's so fun to see him grow more independent. It's very cute!

Macy!

For my 25th birthday my mother-in-law gave me a Pomeranian puppy. This was just a few years back!! Richard and I had been married about 1 1/2yrs at the time. She quickly became part of our little family at the time. Then about 3 yrs later we had our 3 little girls. It was so cute when we brought them home to see how Macy reacted. She was very concerned and protective over these 3 little babies! Whenever they cried in their room she'd run in and investigate and if we didn't go to them quick enough she'd be in our room whimpering by the door. She loved the girls!

Here's a picture of Macy when we first got her. She was about 4 months old, we put her beside the teddy bear to show how tiny she was!

As the girls got old enough to roll around and play, they loved to watch Macy run around. They always thought it was funny to see her fetch her toys or do her tricks.
Macy was running around and playing and the girls would try to watch her wherever she went. They are about 5 months old here, l-r Abbi, Brianna and Cadence.

Sadly after the girls 1st birthday we figured out part of Brianna's asthma problems. She was reacting to Macy. The doctors figured she'd eventually grow out of this. But at the time we needed to get Macy out of our house. My parents said they'd take her. So it was always nice to go out to the farm and still see Macy once in a while.

Well, Brianna did grow out of her asthma problem. She didn't have it really bad to begin with but bad enough that it scared us a few times. A couple of weeks ago my parents went and spent the week in Calgary to help Cody and Emily paint. We took Macy for the week. It was fun having her around and she quickly settled in. When they came back we mentioned that we wouldn't mind keeping her again, only if mom and dad were ok with that. So Macy is now with us!
Cadence helping her Grandma Spencer groom Macy.
Everyone got a turn, here is Brianna shaving a strip of hair off of Macy!
DJ was even brave enough to give it a try. Macy is so good, she just sits there and pants a lot!
DJ with his Grandpa Spencer watching Grandma cut Macy's hair.

The kids love her and she has fun running around with them. So we have a dog in our house again and are loving it! DJ has gotten very good at opening the sliding door and letting Macy go outside. The only problem is once in a while he forgets to close it! I'll walk into the kitchen and find it freezing cold because the sliding door is wide open.
We bought Macy a new colar and leash. The kids had to give it a try and walk her around the house. DJ thought it was his and threw a HUGE fit when the girls each got a turn!

One afternoon the kids were having a little picnic in my room eating their lunch. I was cleaning the kitchen and getting things ready to take the girls to school. I heard DJ yelling and he came running to me saying "uh oh", and grabbing my hand. He pulled me into the hallway and I saw Macy running away with his sandwich. We've had to be more careful with food and what drops on the floor, because Macy will be right there to clean it up.

It's been fun having her around. Everyone thinks she's still a puppy but she is actually pretty old, for a dog! She will be 9 years old this year. We are happy to have her!

Holy Cow It's Been 10 Years!

I can't believe that Richard and I have now become an old married couple!!! We've hit the 10 year mark last Thursday, Feb 3, 2011. I couldn't imagine life without Richard. Life has treated us good and we are happily married!

We've been talking about going away for our 10 year anniversary. We thought it would be fun to go someplace warm. But then reality struck and we realized a weekend away is more pratical! So I went to Costco and bought ski tickets for Whitefish, and got on priceline and got a nice hotel for cheap. We were planning on leaving Friday morning.

Thursday night we went out for dinner with some friends, since this was our actual anniversary date! Richard came home from work and gave me an edible flower arrangement. YUM!! It was so delicious. I did take a picture of it after I ate 2 of the flowers, because it did look really cool.
Friday morning we woke up and I packed everyone up. My parents took DJ and Cadence and Richard's took Abbi and Brianna. DJ woke up feeling horrible, so I ran him to the hospital first. Sure enough he had ear infections, so we got him some medicine. I got to my parents house and got DJ out and was slowly walking on the ice to the garage door. I slipped and went flying! I hung onto DJ and he fell on top of me, and I landed hard on my side. I laid there for a second and could hear DJ screaming his head off. He was more upset that I dropped his truck and it slid under the burb. Luckily I was ok, just got a bad bruise on my right hip, but other than that was fine....crazy ice!

I said goodbye to Cadence and DJ. I felt bad leaving him sick but thought since I got him medicine he'd start feeling better. My parents were fine and told us to have fun. I got home and picked Richard and the other two up. We dropped them off on our way through Cardston. Then away we went. We got to Kalispell and settled into the hotel. We relaxed, went and soaked in the hot tub, then decided to find somewhere to eat. We asked the receptionist where a good place was. We went to North Bay, and the food was delicious. It was a nice place and we even got free appetizers from our hotel. We really enjoyed dinner. Then we went back to our hotel and I left Richard and did some shopping at JC Penny's which was hooked onto our hotel. I had fun shopping and taking my time. I just bought stuff off the 80% off racks. I spent $50, and saved $250. Crazy eh! I had to buy Abbi a bunch of new pants (all her pants are too small) and shirts. So I got Cadence and Brianna a few clothes too, and DJ.

Then on Saturday we ate a yummy, hot breakfast at our hotel and then got ready to go skiing. I was excited but a little nervous. It had been WAY TOO long since I've skiied. We used to always go before we had kids. We haven't been since we've had kids. So I thought it would be fun.

We got to Big Mountain and rented our equipment and got ready to go. Richard just takes off and I follow him to the chair lifts. Of course he went to the big ones that take you to the top of the mountain. I caught on and we went over to the little chair lifts. I needed to do some easy runs first. Then I got confident enough to go to the top of the mountain. I'm so glad we did, it was so pretty up there. We hit a beautiful day to go skiing. The snow was nice a fluffy, it wasn't too cold and it was nice and clear.

Richard and I riding the chair lift up for the 1st time! I wasn't sure what I got myself into, but skiing is like riding a bike, it all came back to me!

There were snow ghosts at the top of the mountain. I've never seen them before and the sight was amazing. They are trees all covered in snow. Anyways, I had to take some pictures. We'd ski down a little ways and I'd stop and take pictures! We spent most of our time on the top of the mountain and skiing down the backway. I lost Richard once. I usually could just see his yellow jacket and follow where he was going. I was mistaken and took a wrong turn. I ended up on the side of the mountain with only one way down. I sat down beside another skier who was also staring down where we had to go. She kept telling me to go first and I'd laugh and say, "That's ok you can go first." I was really freaking out inside! She finally went and I watched how she did it. Then I followed, and made it down! I waited at the chair lifts for Richard. I finally gave up on him and got in line to go back to the top when I saw him. He was afraid I'd be all ticked off at him...ha ha ha! But I wasn't, that didn't happen till later...he he!

We had so much fun. We stopped for a quick lunch and then went back up to the top. By this time I was getting pretty tired. Plus my right side hurt (where I fell the day before). I went to go down and ended up waxing out so hard. When I fell my head ended up pointing downhill (like I was upside down), and my one ski got stuck on my boot and with me sliding down the hill it felt like my ankle was going to break (it was my bad ankle). I was trying to get them apart and was just about ready to start screaming for help (I kind of panicked!), but then I was able to pull them apart. I sat up and noticed Richard was no where in sight and I had no clue which way he went. By this point I was DONE! But I had no choice but to keep going. I finally found Richard and we had to go back up to the top so we could come down the front side. I was so exhausted!! He could of kept going but didn't want to by himself so we left. There was only 30mins left of skiing anyways, so it's not like we left that early!
Here's me with the cool looking "snow ghosts"! I thought it was a pretty cool sight!

I told Richard to wait so I could take a picture of Whitefish lake. This is from partway down the mountain. It was such a clear day out.
The only time, I beat Richard down the hill and I took advantage of it and took a picture.

It was a lot of fun. I was afraid I wouldn't remember how to ski but it all came back to me. We both agreed that it would be fun to bring the girls and have them try next time. They have a really good program for kids. We took pictures of random kids skiing to show our girls. They enjoyed looking at the pictures.

After that we crashed at the hotel. I was so tired. We did go out and eat something then came back and watched movies. It was a really fun weekend. I didn't do very much shopping either, which Richard was happy for! We came home Sunday and picked up Brianna and Abbi in Cardston. Brianna was sick and was fevered. Poor thing wasn't feeling good at all. We got to Raymond where DJ was still really sick, fevered and throwing up. Poor kids. I felt really bad, but was thankful for such good parents that took care of our sick kids! So we ran DJ and Brianna in to the hospital and they got DJ on different medication. Brianna had a touch of bronchitis. They are slowly starting to feel better. It's a horrible virus going around. Brianna missed school this whole week. I'm hoping she'll be better by Monday, for their Valentine's party.

So that's what we did on our 10 year anniversary. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed a little get away, thanks to our parents....thanks again!
