What's Up!

Now that I am all caught up, I can post about what we've been up to the past week. I already posted about my mother daughter date with Cadence, which we did on Saturday. Last Thursday Cadence finally went back to school after being off for almost a week. Now that she wasn't in constant pain I figured she could go. Of course it was hard for her to go and she was crying, but her teachers are amazing and took her. I had my cell phone on in case they needed to call me. I took DJ to parent pre-school from 9:30-11:30. He is finally happy to come. I have been sitting on a chair in the room. He still won't let me go into the parent room. But I think it will eventually happen. At least he is running around playing with everyone while I sit in the corner on my computer (this is when I am blogging!). Before he wouldn't leave my side. Then in the afternoon I dropped Cadence off for her PUFF program at the school. She was excited to go, since they do yoga too. I took DJ into Raymond for a check up with his ears. He had 2 weeks where his right ear was so infected it was dripping goop out of his ear. I got him on some antibiotics but it wasn't stopping so I took him back in and he had swimmers ear on top of the ear infection. Poor kid, no wonder he was so miserable. So we got ear drops too. I wanted to doctor to check to make sure his ear was all cleared up and his tube was still in. I was a little worried about it. But everything looks great. YEAH!
Not the greatest picture, but Brianna put on the saddle on for our rocking horse and DJ was riding her. It was pretty hilarious! I videoed it too. We were all laughing so hard because he was determined to put his feet in the stirrups but by then Brianna couldn't hold him up and they wouldn't collapse. So funny!

My sister, Megan, had taken the whole week off. She wanted me to go skiing with her one day. So I met up with her Friday and we went to West Castle for the afternoon. It was a lot of fun. I waited till the girls came home from school (10:30am) and then we drove up to Cardston where I dropped them off at their Grandma Spencer's house. DJ was mad at me, because he thought he was going to Grandma Paxman's house. I thought I told him which Grandma but I guess I didn't. He wouldn't get out of the truck and everytime I went to open his door, he'd lock it. My key fob no longer works so I have to open my door and push the unlock button. But I wasn't fast enough to open his door before he locked it again. Little stinker did it 4 times! He was not impressed with me. So when I left he threw a huge tantrum. I felt bad leaving but he was fine after a few minutes. He has fun there, I think I should of prepared him with which Grandma he was going too. Lesson learned, I will know for next time, crazy boy!

Anyways I met up with Megan and we took off for West Castle. It was so much fun. I dressed in layers because I knew it was going to be cold. It was freezing out, but there was so much snow, that it made it fun. I haven't been to West Castle for over 10 years. We would go up to the top and found a few runs that we enjoyed. The only problem with their chair lifts is that none of them had foot rests. Plus the chairs were super slow (I'm used to Whitefish and Fernies fast chair lifts). So by the time we got to the top both my feet were asleep. It happened every time. It was killing me! Maybe I'm getting too old! Ha ha! But it sure was fun to go skiing. I've really enjoyed it the past year. I've been trying to go as much as possible. I think Richard and I will go again this year for our anniversary. So that will be fun! Anyways it was a fun afternoon. I got back to the kids by 5:30pm so I wasn't gone for too long either. It was perfect!
Megan at the top, just before we went down.

Me at the top. It was beautiful out and was lightly snowing the whole time we were there.

So pretty!

Richard left Friday afternoon with the ventures to go camping. So he didn't get back till early Saturday afternoon. Luckily the weather had warmed up so they weren't camping in -30 weather. I was a little worried about that. But they had a good camp.

Our neighbours behind us built an ice rink. This week has been the first one that they have gone out and used it. They had told us to come over anytime and skate with them. I found a pair of skates for cheap on facebook, so I bought them. The neighbours gave us an extra pair too, so we have 2. I am on the hunt for 2 more pairs. It has been so much fun. The kids have loved it. I put the skates on Abbi and Cadence. They did so good for their first time ever on ice. Cadence totally shocked me. She would take off fast and glide across the rink. She loves it. Brianna and Abbi couldn't believe that Cadence could go that fast. It was cute! DJ just comes on with his boots and plays hockey. He thought that was great. It has made for some fun afternoons.

It's been a lot of fun to go out there and practise our skating!

One night after I put the kids to bed, DJ was having a hard time settling. I could hear him playing in his room and then it was finally quiet. Richard went in later to check on him and told me to run and get the camera. So I did. I walked in and we both started laughing. It was so so cute. Instead of explaining I will just share the picture I took!
Here is how our goofy little boy was sleeping. He must of found his car slippers and put them on, and then fell asleep. So stinking cute!

Well nothing too exciting has happened this week. Just the same normal stuff. We are all counting down the days till David (my brother)gets home from his mission. He flys into Calgary on March 7th. It's coming up fast. My kids are super excited about that! Hope you all have a great weekend!

So So Cold!

I can't even complain about our winter so far, UNTIL this week! Ha ha! We've had a very mild winter and I've loved it. But going from +5 to -35 degrees C, about kills a person. I think it shocked our systems. So yesterday when I woke up and checked the weather and it was -35 with a wind shield factor of -44, I made the decision that it was a home day. I kept the girls from school and we stayed in our nice warm houses. It was the best decision ever! It was a fun day!

I tried to think of some fun things to do with the kids so they wouldn't get bored. So we cleaned up the kitchen and I got some bowls and filled them with shaving cream. Then I put some food coloring into each bowl. The kids were so excited. I had Cadence and DJ strip down to their underwear and get in the bathtub. I told them the only rule was to keep the shaving cream in the bathtub. I gave them some paint brushes and they went to work. It was cute to hear them talking and giggling together. They had fun making a master piece in the bathtub. I went into my bathroom and filled the bathtub with some nice warm water. Then when they were done painting we got the shower head down and they took turns washing off the bathtub walls. Easiest mess ever to clean up! Then they ran to my bathroom and jumped into the bathtub and played in the warm water.
Here are Cadence and DJ just starting to paint.

Here they are just finishing. Forget the brushes they just used their hands!

The kids love to swim in my bath tub. Just drives me crazy when they spill water out, because it goes everywhere.

It was now Abbi and Brianna's turn. I got them some new shaving cream with different colors. They stripped down to their underwear too and went to work. Their was a tonne of giggling come from the bathroom with those two together. I could hear shrieking too. They started out quite calm, painting the walls. But then I went in and they were covered head to toe. They decided to paint themselves too! So funny! Again a very easy thing to clean up. I just sprayed them down and the bathtub and got them to run to my room to get in the warm water.
My two little giggle pusses before.

Here they are after! Crazy girls, good thing it's a super easy clean up!

Abbi and Brianna swimming in the warm water and getting clean.

I washed Cadence and DJ's hair and got them out of the bathtub. They got all cuddled up in their housecoats and climbed onto my bed and I put on a movie. So cute to see them all cuddled up! Abbi and Brianna soon joined them on my bed. They cuddled together and watched the movie for a bit!
Cadence and DJ cuddling on my bed.

Cadence, Abbi and DJ cuddling together. I think the house coats were the best Christmas presents ever, they use them all the time.

After we were all dressed for the day we went downstairs and watched the movie, Nanny McPhee. I got the kids all a snack and I ate my breakfast. It was a very relaxing and fun morning. Plus we all stayed nice and warm!

After lunch was all cleaned up I had promised the kids that we would make some cookies. We made a small batch of sugar cookies and then a big batch of oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. The kids had a blast icing their own cookies and adding sprinkles on them. Then they all ate a cookie with a glass of milk. I had made supper ahead of time and put it in the crock pot, so supper time wouldn't be crazy. So we had a pretty relaxing afternoon too.
My four cute kids decorating their cookies. Love how they are all so busy! If you look closely you can see me in the mirror taking the picture!

Brianna and DJ eating their cookies! Yummy!

The kids also had me make some tents in each of their rooms. I take a big blanket and put it over the top bunk. They go into the bottom bunk and call it their cave. They would visit each other in their caves. We just had a few fights, not too many, to break up. But over all they all did so good yesterday. I watched my cousins kids, Keaton and Lincoln from about 3:45pm - 7pm. Lincoln is 4mths old and Keaton is almost 2 1/2yrs old. Abbi loves to sit by me and hold Lincoln. So cute to watch. Good thing I had thought ahead and had supper ready to go. Made for a stress free supper time and easy clean up too.
This was on a different cold day but I wanted to post these cute pictures. DJ dressed up like a fireman and was saving his puppies from the fire.

He kept running back and forth from my bedroom (where the fire was!) and spraying the water, then he'd come check on the puppies. It was super cute to watch!

All in all we had a fun day off of school. So glad that I decided to keep them home yesterday. Today we woke up and it was a lot warmer, if you can call -20 warm, but it's a lot better then -35. I can deal with that and got the girls all ready for school. Only 2 days left of school then we have the weekend. Yeah!

Teeth!

I remember when my little girls were teething, it was a crazy time. Well in all fairness Abbi and Brianna were pretty good teethers. Half the time I didn't even know they were teething. Cadence, I always knew when she was teething. Poor girl! Between her teething and always having ear infections, it made for some crazy days and nights. But anyways, now they are starting to lose their teeth. So crazy. Abbi discovered that she had a loose tooth just before Christmas. She would have me wiggle it at least once a day. After Christmas and New Years we had a whole week after that off of school. We did a lot of fun stuff and did a bunch of play dates with friends we haven't seen in a while. Abbi kept showing off her tooth and it kept getting more loose. I wiggled it pretty hard one day and it was so loose it was just poking straight out.

Well she decided that she wanted it out. So we tied a string to it and she tried to pull it. She pulled, with me helping a little, and the string broke. It didn't hurt her, but she wanted the string off her tooth. It was still tied around her tooth with a little piece dangling down. She opened up big and I took the little string and yanked up really fast. Abbi then asked, "Did you get the string off?" I replied, "Yup, here it is." She turned around and looked and I was holding the string with the tooth hanging from the end. It was so funny. She was so surprised. It didn't hurt her and she was totally fine. I think she thought she was going to die if I pulled it out! She was so excited and had to call both of her Grandma's and tell them and her cousins, Mikah and Shaylee. When her dad came home she met him at the door and showed him her tooth and her smile! So cute!
Abbi proudly showing off her toothless smile and she has her tiny tooth in her hand.

I had told the girls that with their first tooth that comes out I will take them on a Mommy daughter date. Well they were all excited about this. Cadence was so excited for Abbi. Oh I should mention that we had to put the tooth under her pillow for the tooth fairy. Abbi really wanted to keep her tooth. I told her the tooth fairy usually lets kids keep their 1st tooth, but that's all. Sure enough the tooth fairy came that night.....well barely she's kind of forgetfull and had to get up in the middle of the night to do it!! ha ha! Abbi was so excited to wake up to her tooth and $3.00 under her pillow.

That day I had arranged with my mom for her to watch my kids while Abbi and I went out on our mommy daughter date. She was so excited and got all dressed up. We had to do a quick errand for Richard first. Then I took her to Marble Slab. Yummy!! She was overwhelmed with all the choices. She finally decided on the kind of ice cream, then she had to choose two toppings that they mix into the ice cream. It was so cute to watch her decide. We both got our ice cream and sat down at a table and just took our time and ate them together. She was so happy and talked my ear off. We talked about everything. It was fun to just focus on Abbi and have fun with her. I'm looking forward to doing it with all of my kids!
Such a cute little girl. She got into their dress up box and got this shirt and necklace to get ready for our "date"!

I loved spending time with my Abbi girl!

Now fast forward a week and we have Cadence complaining to me about her tooth. She kept telling me it really hurt. So I called the dentist and got an appointment for a week later. We kept going about our day, and I knew by later afternoon that we needed someone to look at it NOW! So after calling around I finally got in with our dentist here in Magrath when I called to cancel our appointment. When they asked why I told them Cadence needed to be seen now and a dentist in Raymond was going to look at her. Well they told me to bring her right in, and our dentist would look at her now. So that's what we did. It took 3 dental assistants plus me to get an x-ray of Cadence's tooth. She hates going to the dentist. She gets so tense and scared. I try to calm her down, but then she starts to cry. Finally we got one assistant to hold the little thing in her mouth, while another positioned the camera and the last one pushed the button. The whole time I was holding Cadence's hand and talking to her telling her she's doing so good. After the dentist looked at the x-ray he came and talked to us. He said her tooth was dead and the gums were all infected around the tooth. He said it needed to come out and we need to book another appointment. I looked at him and asked how we were going to do that when it was so hard to get an x-ray. So it was decided to put her asleep and do all the dental work that she needed done. He did this in his LethbridgeLethbridge
We had to do a little distracting this weekend to keep Cadence happy. This included the girls linking arms and skipping down the Walmart aisles with their puppy purses!

So we took off yesterday morning and headed into Lethbridge. It was kind of a crazy morning because she couldn't eat or drink anything and that was hard for her. We got there at 10am and ended up waiting till almost noon. I felt so bad for Cadence, she was absolutely starving. She played and did so good, but then she started to get so sad. So by the time they came to get her she was a sad girl. I walked in with her and we walked into the room where they were waiting. Well she freaked out when they asked her to lay on the table which they were surrounding. She climbed up me and clung onto me like a monkey. I was trying to talk to her to calm her down, but she was passed that point. She just wanted to go home right now. Finally I bent down and layed her on the bed with her still clinging to me. The anesthesiologist leaned over and put the mask on her face. She puffed out her cheeks held her breath. She had a very determined look on her face. I told her that it was ok and they were just going to put her to sleep. She took a breath and I felt her body relax and she kept staring at me while I talked to her then she drifted to sleep. I then had to leave the room. They came out a few minutes later and said they took a full x-ray of her mouth and there were 7 cavities to fix and they wanted to pull the bad tooth out and put a spacer in and cap another tooth. So I told them to do it all. She has never had x-rays before, she always freaked out. Cadence and DJ both are afraid of the dentists. We are going to have to work on that. We don`t want to do this again. Cadence came out of sedation really good. I picked her up and took her out to the burb, which I was sitting in while it warmed up. It was freaking cold outside, -25 with wind shield of -35. Brrrrrrrr.
Cadence being a hard working girl! She played in the playroom for awhile but after an hour she was tired and hungry and ready to go home. I don't blame her at all.

Anyways I brought her home and she basically laid on my bed all day. Which was fine with me. She was excited to put her tooth under her pillow last night. She woke up early this morning to find the $3 which the tooth fairy left. She woke me up to show me and ask me when we were going on our mommy daughter date! We decided to go on Friday, since it's FREEZING cold today. But that's a whole other post! Now Brianna is just waiting for her first tooth to come out. That's the bad thing about having triplets they figure if their sister has a loose tooth then they should too! My girls are growing up!

Cadence showing off her tooth. She wouldn't open her mouth up though! The tooth is a molar though, so you can't see it when she smiles. She was a happy little girl!
So this is a quick update about Cadence's mommy daughter date. I ended up taking her on Saturday, Jan 21. It was a killer for her to wait that long, but it was way too cold outside to take her earlier. By Saturday it had warmed up to 2 degrees. Crazy weather. Anyways she was SO EXCITED. She had to get all dressed up first thing in the morning even though I didn't take her till after lunch! We took off and she sat up front with me and talked my ear off all the way to Lethbridge. It's fun to have one on one time with my kids! I took her to marble slab and she thought carefully about which kind of ice cream she was going to get. She picked it out and then chose 2 yummy toppings that they mixed into her ice cream. Then we sat down and talked and ate. It was so much fun. Cadence loved it and so did I. She was worried about her siblings and wanted to make sure she brought them something home. So sweet.
My cute little girl giving me a funny smile!! She insisted on wearing her tiara, and bringing her bear with her. So funny!

Cadence wanted me to take a picture of all the candy lined up on the shelf. She kept counting how many jars were up there. She couldn't believe that there was that much candy!

Then my cute girl insisted on taking a picture of her cool mom!! ha ha!

It was a fun date. We stopped at Walmart afterwards and got a few stuff. I splurged and bought the movie "Dolphin Tale" and we had a movie night. It was fun. The kids quickly cleaned up supper and had a shower and got their jammies on. I made some popcorn and we went down and had a movie night. It was a huge hit, the kids loved it. It made for a fun relaxing night.

New Years Eve and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

For New Years Eve we were invited up to Calgary to Cody and Em's place. The whole family went up. It was a par-tee! We got there at about noon on Saturday. Everyone was planning on sleeping over but we decided to come home later that night. We all sleep much better in our own beds. Plus with DJ having a crazy sleeping patterns that week, we didn't want to chance it. He's been fine, by the way. Back to sleeping his normal 12hr nights. Yahoo!

Everyone got there, my mom and dad, Megan, Cam and his girls, and Brent and Tiff. It was a full house. My kids were very excited to see their cousins, Ali and Mary. Emily had a yummy lunch ready for us. So we had home made hoogies and some soup for the kids. Then we took off to go swimming at the Southland Leisure Center. It was crazy busy there but the kids had a blast. I totally forgot to bring our life jackets. I never forget and bring them everywhere, but not this time! So I kept my eyes peeled for life jackets. They were all gone when we got there, but within 10 minutes I had all our kids in jackets! But not before DJ slipped and went under the water. It was only for a second but the kid has tubes in his ears and I'm hoping that they are still there. He's always so careful not to get his head wet, but he tripped and went down. I took my camera with me but we were way too busy keeping our eyes on all 4 kids that I didn't get any pictures. Abbi loved the wave pool and didn't want to leave it. She stuck with her Aunt Emily and Ali. Cadence was brave and went down the big slide with me. She even wanted to go again so Grandpa Paxman took her down. I didn't warn him on how fast the slide was. He said they came flying out at the bottom and he lost his footing and tripped and landed on top of Cadence. He reached down and pulled her back up. He said Cadence was sputtering and wiping her eyes. He asked if she wanted to go again and she said no thanks! Ha ha, so funny! We had to give dad a hard time! Brianna just stuck with me and Richard and DJ. It was a fun afternoon. After we got showered and dressed (I had the girls) we were leaving the dressing room to find Richard and DJ. I thought Cadence was right behind me but she had stopped to stare at people (it was packed). I all of the sudden heard her SCREAMING. I turned and ran around the corner where she was freaking out because she lost sight of me. I got her and settled her down. One good thing is I always know where Cadence is if I ever lose sight of her, because she has quite the scream!
Cutest picture ever of most of the girl cousins (we're missing Cassie). These girls have so much fun together!

The only picture I got of us swimming....in the locker room!! It's a crazy picture and Cadence's face makes me laugh!

We got back to Cody and Em's and ordered some Chinese food. The kids were downstairs playing Dance on the x-box. It was so funny to watch all the little kids taking turns doing a dance. They had a blast with it. The adults played a couple games upstairs. A little rook, of course! We tried some new games too.

Then we ate some yummy Chinese food. Afterwards we put out all the munchies that everyone brought. We had the "kids New Years" at about 8:30pm. They thought that it was great. Emily got them all some glow in the dark necklaces and horns. We counted down with the lights off and then yelled HAPPY NEW YEARS! It was fun and all the kids had a blast with their horns. We got all the kids dressed in their jammies and got them settled down with a movie.
The kids party. They got to each anything they wanted and have pop too! Poor DJ is so out numbered, being the only boy! But he'll soon have another boy cousin joining the family!! Cody and Em FINALLY told us what they are having...a BOY!

All the kids ready to count down and blow their horns!!!

Richard and I got the burb all warmed up and ready for our little kidlets! We made 4 comfy beds for them in the burb. They each brought their pet pillows and sleeping bags. They were excited to "sleep" in the burb! We got them settled and away we went. We left around 10pm. I drove, while Richard got to referee everyone! Then they all zonked. I was afraid that they'd all wake up at home (it's a 2hr drive) and not go back to sleep. But no, we carried them all into their beds and none of them batted an eye. I think we wore them out. We even all slept in the next morning! YEAH! It was so nice. It was a fun New Years Eve.

After church we went to Cardston for dinner at Richard's grandparents. It was a yummy ham dinner. Delicious! The kids had packed their bags and were sleeping over at Richard's parents house. They were so excited. They've wanted a sleep over at their Grandma and Grandpa Spencer's house for a while. Shelly had hurt her knee the night before, so she was in bed with a brace on. But she still insisted on having them stay. The girls had fun helping their Grandma. She even had a bell and everytime she rang it my girls would come running to see what she needed. So cute! Richard and I were planning on going skiing on Monday with my sister, Megan. He ended up sick so just me and Megan went skiing at Fernie. It was so much fun! We had a blast. Lots of laughs! I'm glad we went. It was a fun day. Richard stayed home and rested so he could go to work on Tuesday. It was a fun weekend!
Here comes Megan, the pro snow boarder!

OK maybe we're not so pro, since we had to hike out a little ways. We didn't go the 2km, but took a short cut. We got stuck at a chair lift that took us to the very top. Not what we were planning! Oops!

We were TIRED, even though we look a little crazy!

BLAH, I'm done!! Ha ha! It was about now that we saw someone fly by about a hundred feet up. YEAH, we made it! It was all downhill from there!!! Ha ha...it was a fun day!

I Can't Believe They're 6!!

I'm kind of behind on my posting. Life has gotten a little crazy lately. I'm trying really hard to get caught up. On Dec 26, 2005 is when we had our three beautiful little girls. It's crazy to think that they are six. It's been so fun to see them grow and develop in their own ways. They may be triplets but are so different from each other. I love it!

I had prepared ahead of time again this year. It's tough having a birthday, let alone, 3 birthdays on the day after Christmas!! So that's why I try to be prepared. I had decided to rent a bowling alley for their birthday. I thought it would be easier to have the mess somewhere else. So I made one cake and cut it into 3 smaller cakes. That way we didn't have a tonne of cake left over. The girls were so excited and couldn't wait!

I got everything ready and we had packed the suburban up with all their gifts and food etc. I called ahead to Burger Baron in Raymond for 4 large pizzas. We picked them up on the way to the Stirling Bowling Alley. It's just a small alley, two lanes. So we had the whole place to ourselves. My brother, Cam, came with his 3 girls, my mom and dad and my sister Megan were there. Then Richard's parents and his grandparents came and so did his sister Lisa and her husband Brian and their 3 kids. We just let the kids go at it. They had a blast. It was fun watching them bowl. DJ even got into it and did very good. He would do a little dance everytime he hit a pin. So cute! So they bowled for about an hour, we only had a few injuries. Cadence got her finger smashed. DJ got an elbow smashed right in his eye. It didn't help that he was getting over a concussion. I've never seen an eye swell up and go black that fast. Of course, those injuries were near the end. That's when we knew it was time to stop!
A picture of all 4 of my kids bowling! Love it! Richard is on the left and Grandpa Spencer is bowling with his grandkids!

Cadence bowling on the left and DJ and Brianna trying the ramp while their dad is holding it!

DJ and his crazy stance! DJ loved having Grandma Paxman helping him!

Loved this picture I got of Cadence. She insisted on wearing her fairy wings, so cute!

We all had some pizza and pop. Then I got the cake and ice cream out. The girls gathered around the cake and so did their Grandpa Spencer (it's his birthday too!)! We sang happy birthday to them and they all blew their candles out. They had helped me decorate their cakes. I have to admit that they were a little sad looking but the girls loved them. So that's good! It's funny to watch them eat their cake. Abbi has cake and ice cream and usually ends up eating just the ice cream. Brianna has ice cream first and after she's done that, then she'll eat a piece of cake (she doesn't like mixing things)! Cadence has cake and ice cream and eats both of them. Just funny to see their differences!
Brianna (her back to me) Cadence and Abbi just after blowing out their candles. I didn't get a picture of just their cake. But you can kind of see the 3 kites I made. Ones really small but the girls loved it!

DJ was right there to help his sisters blow out their candles!

We then had them open presents. Of course, they were super excited about that. We got them each a Build-A-Bear in a box. It was a great find and they all loved it. We made them the next day and it was fun to sit down with them one at a time and make the bear. Their Grandma Paxman made them each an apron and they got a cake mix each for their easy bake oven. So that was another fun activity we did together. They loved everything they got. We then just had enough time to clean up and pack up.
Abbi, Cadence and Brianna with their Build-A-Bears. Seth had to jump into the picture with his big smile!

A picture of all the chaos going on. I am the one standing their with the video camera!

My 3 cute girls with some of their gifts. They got a lot of crafty things and they love it!

DJ showing me how happy he is that Great Grandma and pa Spencer gave him a gift too!
Grandpa Spencer showing off his gift!

Jasmine showing off her pretty smile! My girls had fun playing with her!

Cute baby Spencer! So fun to hold a baby!

ABBIGAIL ROSE SPENCER

  • Abbi loves to tell her sisters that she's the oldest! Even though it's only by a minute!
  • She loves to boss her sisters and brother around. For the most part they listen to her too!
  • Abbi really enjoys her dance classes, and loves to show me her new moves!
  • She loves the outdoors. Will do anything and everything outside.
  • She has such a great imagination. Will think of a game or play doctor or house with her siblings. This usually entertains them for hours.
  • Loves to make crafts, paint and color. She made her own little scrapbook while I was working on the family scrapbook. I gave her the stuff and she went to work and didn't stop till she was done!
  • Abbi is a happy little girl and absolutely loves her sisters and brother.
  • Is very good at giving a back rub and loves to do that for her mom and dad! We love it too!
BRIANNA CLARE SPENCER

  • Brianna is a little mother! Always so worried if anyones sick and will do anything for them.
  • She's a great big sister for DJ. I've caught her sitting with him and practising his speech words. So, so cute. He will actually say things for her that he won't for me! So I've used that to my advantage and will tell her what words we need him to practise and she'll do it with him!
  • Loves playing her computer games on her leapster and is very good at it!
  • She is always so polite and will always thank everyone for everything. For example, we were eating Sunday dinner at my parents and Brianna say, "Grandma these are the most delicious potatoes ever. Did you make them?" So funny!
  • Brianna also loves school and always reminds me to read with her.
  • She is always very concerned about her sisters. If she is leaving to go somewhere without them, she has to give them a hug good bye!
  • Is very coordinated in whatever she does! Playing soccer came pretty easy to her. Whatever she wants to do she does it really good!
  • Brianna also has a great imagination. She plays so well with her sisters and I love listening to them play pretend. They crack me up!
CADENCE JOLENE SPENCER

  • Has a very contagious laugh and is always laughing at her sisters or brother. It's actually pretty cute, because they will try so hard to make her laugh then they all laugh with her!
  • Is a very bubbly, happy little girl, until she loses her temper!! ha ha! She does have red hair and a temper to match, once in a while!
  • Is not very shy, unlike her sisters, and loves to try new things. Her sisters will usually try after Cadence has! She doesn't care what others think either. I love that. She'll get dressed for school and accessorize by putting on some flower bows on the collar of her shirt or on the bottom of her pants!
  • Has alot of energy and if I put it to good use can clean very well!
  • Is always very concerned about her sisters and brother too. Her uncles tease her about taking her sisters home and she used to scream NO at them. Now she knows they are teasing but she still tenses up and says no!
  • Has been a little fighter since day 1. She weighed 3lbs 13oz and had some issues but she was a little fighter. If anything happens it will happen to Cadence (she's had 3 broken arms). Good thing she is so tough!
  • Loves school and she is in the PUFF program also to help with her speech. She always asks me when she goes to school by herself. She loves her speech teacher and works so hard on her speech.
  • She is my snuggle bug! Sometimes she'll wake up in the middle of the night and she'll say, "Mom I just want to snuggle with someone!" We got her a big soft bear that she sleeps with everynight, all snuggled up to!

I could go on and on about my 3 little girls but there are a few facts about each of them. I love them so much and couldn't imagine our life without them.. I've had a lot of comments lately about how crazy our life must be. I don't think it's crazy at all, just busy and we love it! HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIRLS, WE LOVE YOU!
