DJ's Kindergarden Grad!!

I can't believe my boy is old enough to be graduating from Kindergarten! Too crazy! He was super excited to go to the Graduation. He had a really good year in Kindergarten. He started out super shy, where he would hardly talk to his teachers. Then he got more and more comfortable with them. They said they loved to see his personality come out. He loves to be goofy and to get people to laugh at him. I love that he had so much fun in kindergarten. He made a lot of good friends too. He will still be in speech for Grade 1, but he's doing so good. The O.T. is more worried about his motor skills. The way she was talking about him, you'd picture a kid that has a hard time moving. She kept telling me that it would be good for him to play outside in the summer. I just kind of looked at her and then at Mrs. Cook. I laughed, and said that he was very active outside. We ride bikes, jump on the tramp, run around and explore. She was a little shocked and said, "He can ride a bike?" Ha ha! I just had to laugh it off, or else I'd feel very annoyed. He has very flexy fingers and joints. It makes it hard for him to grip a pencil and write. The funny thing is, I'm the exact same way. Always have been. So I'm not too worried about him. We'll just keep working with him! He's a fun 6 year old and I love him to pieces! So here are all his pictures of his Graduation!

Fun With My Camera!

DJ loves to take pictures on my fancy camera. I don't let him do it very often. But he's always asking me and asking me how to take good pictures. So I've been showing him how. So once in a while I will let him take some pictures. We are usually alone so it's usually of me!! Then I take some of him while he poses for me! Ha ha! So I thought I'd share those on here.

Grandpa Pitcher's 90th Birthday!!

My Grandpa Pitcher turned 90 in June. My mom and her siblings had a big birthday party for him at his retirement home. He is really loving it there. It's on the west side of Lethbridge, I believe it's called the Garden Place. The had the open house Birthday Celebration for Grandpa in the afternoon. Then we had a family one starting at 6pm. We had dinner and cake. It was fun to visit with everyone. I was able to see cousins that I haven't seen in a long time. Love my Grandpa so much. Have a lot of memories with him and my Grandma! I was able to live with my Grandparents when I went to College. It was great. Loved being able to spend time with them. They went to the Temple every Tuesday and that's the day Kim (she's my best friend and lived with me there) and I would make supper together. We would have it ready by the time they got home. I know that they were always tired and I hope that making supper for them helped! It was fun! Anyways, back to Grandpa's Birthday. I think that he had a pretty great day! Glad we could spend some time with him.

Soccer and Softball!

This year Abbi decided to go into softball. She really loved playing baseball (coach pitch) the last two previous years. This year the choice was actual baseball or softball. So we put her into softball. It turned out great. She loves it and is getting really good at it. I had fun cheering for her!! So here are a few pictures I got of her!

DJ went into soccer this year. The only downside was he started at the same time I had to do my bus run. So I had someone take him and I was able to get back in time to watch him play for the last 20 minutes. He absolutely loves soccer and has so much fun. He's so much bigger then everyone else, but he really had to work on controlling the ball. He had an awesome coach that he loved. He wanted to go every time, there were no fights getting him there. Yeah!!

Brianna also went into soccer this year. I was her coach. Not sure how that happened but nobody else would do it. So I coached with the help of a teenager. It worked out really well. Brianna also loves playing soccer and is really good at it. She really impressed me this year. She had no fear and would go after the ball. Even if it meant that she got kicked in the legs. Good thing for shin pads. I loved watching her too!

Love My Family!

I've totally missed my posts for Mothers Day and Fathers Day. So I thought I'd do a post about my amazing family. I love my cute little family. They really are the best. I have some pretty amazing kids! They make me feel so happy. I love hearing their funny stories! One of my favorite parts of the day is relaxing and telling Richard about our adventures of the day. He loves hearing stories about the kids and we both laugh together. It's so fun! I feel like in the past year Richard and I have been through a lot together and have grown closer together. I feel like we can do anything together. I've loved moving into our own home that we've made together. There is still lots for us to do but I absolutely LOVE being here. This is home. It feels so good and right. So here are some pictures we took one Sunday before church. I love my family!!
