Vancouver Vacation Part 2!

We woke up Wednesday morning and it was a little cloudy and it was calling for rain. But it wasn't cold. So we decided to go ahead with our plans, which was to drive to the Capillano Bridge Park. We had breakfast at IHop and headed out.

Away we went. I was excited to see this pretty park. We got there and walked over to the park. We decided to walk along the cliffs first. It was amazing. The way they had the pathways that wrapped around the trees and cliffs. At one point we walked out and got to look down. It was so cool.
Richard and I at the entrance of the park.

The cool looking totem poles.

My handsome hubby!!

We had to climb up a ton of stairs.

A picture looking down from the stairs.

Here we are on the cliff walkway.

It was so pretty. We were way up high too.

This walkway was a little freaky! There's Richard on the other side.

Me on the walkway.

The view was amazing!

Crazy way the tree grew out of the side of the cliff.

Oh strong Richard!!

Cool hollowed out tree.
We took the picture of the Cliff Walk at the end!! We're crazy like that!

Looking down through the floor.

Here's the HUGE Capillano suspended bridge we were able to walk across. It was very wiggly!
Richard jumped on it half way across and about 30 seconds later the whole bridge started jumping up and down and swaying back and forth like crazy. Freaked me out!
The view from the bridge.
So pretty.
It was a very long bridge.
We then went and walked across the suspended bridge. It swayed really bad. It actually made me feel kind of sick. I had to go sit down for a while after we crossed. I was so nauseous. I felt like everything was swaying and wouldn't stop. Not a fun feeling. I finally felt OK enough to go ahead and go explore. Everything was so pretty. We had a lot of fun!
Me coming across the bridge.

Cool picture of the clear water in the trees.

Richard out on our walk!

Richard likes to read every sign on any walk we take. He loves to learn new things.

The neat tree house we got to go in.

The tree house is connected to a huge tree walk.

Going across to another tree.

Richard at another tree on the suspended tree house walk!

Look how tall the tree is!

We were pretty high up. We thought it was cool how they notched the tree trucks.

We did a lot of walking!

There's the suspended bridge.

This was part of the tree that fell onto the bridge during a huge storm back in 2008.

They used part of the tree in the walkway.

I really enjoy walking through the trees and enjoying nature. It was just so pretty.

We had a fun time at the park.

After we explored all over the park. We headed back and stopped at the mall for some lunch. Then we decided to go explore more of West Vancouver. We had a map and wanted to go on a few hikes to see the ocean and explore for shells. So away we went. Our first place we went to was a cool light house. We hiked around on the rocks too. It was raining the whole time but it wasn't too cold out. Perfect hiking conditions!!
Cool looking Light house.

Walking down to the ocean.

Here comes Richard!

Picture of the big boats out in the water. It was misty and foggy out!

A picture of all the muscles stuck to the rocks. They were everywhere and very stinky!!

Ha ha, love that Richard was using my umbrella!

Another picture of the Light House.

Me enjoying the view!

Me with the view of all the boats behind me!

Strolling in the rain!

Richard was looking really hard for some sea shells for the kids.

Other than the muscle shells Richard found one cool looking shell!

Richard by a huge green wall!
We drove further west and found this pretty spot. It`s a picture of some Islands.

Yes I was there!

It was a really fun and tiring day. I was exhausted by the time we started heading back. We had a HUGE lunch so neither of us were hungry and we had some snacks at the hotel. So we just went back and got comfy and relaxed for the night. Oh and we talked to the kids on Facetime. Perfect way to end the day. That was a huge picture load.....I took so many pictures and it was hard to choose some of my favorites!!
