Ten On Tuesday!

1. Spring has sprung. Early too! I love seeing all the blossoms starting to bloom. We have an apricot tree here on the farm. I really wanted to get some pictures of the blossoms. So one evening we went for a walk. I was able to get some pictures. Plus Abbi was there to pose for me in front of the tree. It was perfect!! Thanks Abbigail!

Abbi in front of the Apricot Tree. Her hair is getting so LONG!

2. About a month ago I got a message on my phone from a lady that bought one of our puppies about 6 months ago. She was saying that she couldn't handle him anymore and wanted to bring him back. I told her to bring him back. So we now have 3 dogs. Leai, Brownie and Cooper. To say Cooper is crazy is a bit of an understatement. We've worked with him and he's doing a little bit better. I'm trying to sell him. The kids and Richard aren't that happy with me. But it's been a bit crazy and I'm ready for him to go!
Here is Cooper!! So hard to get him to stand still. That's why Richard is holding his head still.

3. One morning I woke up early to the dogs barking like crazy. But I could hear another crazy sound. I couldn't figure out what it was. It sounded really crazy. Richard ran out there to see what it was. He chased whatever it was away in the car. Anyways, 3 days later Richard came back from the dump saying he saw some turkeys on our land. Sure enough there was probably about 20 wild turkeys. They are HUGE and black. So we thought it was probably the turkeys that had the dogs barking like crazy. It's happened a few times since too. I'm ready to go shoot those crazy turkeys. Seriously it's making me very tired. I had to lock the dogs up in the garage so they wouldn't get barking. Cause once Cooper starts barking he just doesn't stop......at all!
There are a few of the turkeys.

The dogs came and chased a turkey up the tree. Kind of funny! Ha ha!!

4. The weather has been absolutely amazing. A few Saturday's ago we decided to have a bon fire and invited some friends and family over. It was a lot of fun. I'm glad we did it. The kids had a blast running around and playing with their cousins. It was so nice out....we actually all got a little sun kissed! After we roasted our hot dogs and had some yummy marshmallows we went and had the kids do some archery. Everyone had a lot of fun. Glad we had everyone over.

More people enjoying their food!

Ari was playing on a log and was making all of us laugh. She was having fun!

And she was so happy!

Then she fell off.

And let the games begin!

Such focus!

Everyone helping take out the arrows. They listened so well to the commands!

Abbi loves shooting arrows!

Look at all those cute little Robin Hoods!! Ha ha!!

Brianna is very focused and does a great job!

Good Form there Cadence!

Watching to see where her arrow hit.

Don't you love the gum boots that Abbi is wearing. They are HUGE on her. They are Richards. But when she goes down to the creek that's what she wears!

5. Tennille and Ethan came over one day and just hung out with us. We had no school so we didn't have to be anywhere. Ethan brought his bike and we went and rode our bike around the farm a bit. He loved it. We also watched them jump on the trampoline together too. Ethan was getting a kick out of attacking DJ. Those two had fun together.
There goes Brianna, Ethan and DJ on their bikes!

DJ and Ethan were wrestling each other on the trampoline!

Ha ha....this picture makes me laugh. Ethan pulled on DJ's sleeve and DJ decided to scare him with his hand! So cute!

6. Richard found an old basketball hoop and he went and screw it to a tree right by the trampoline. The kids have loved playing with it and shooting some hoops. DJ especially! We've had fun playing games together and just shooting the ball! Plus we put another swing up in a tree by the trampoline too. The kids love swinging on them. I love the simple things that make us happy!
Brianna swinging on our fun tree swing!

Cadence coming over. There's Brownie and Cooper with her!

Oh Brianna, I love your smile!

7. DJ loves to play with any kind of cardboard box. He always come up with something new to make out of them. One evening he got some boxes and made a train. He was the conductor and Brianna and Cadence were the passangers along with all of their stuffies. They were playing so good together. It was super cute. I had to take some pictures!
Look at those cute kids in their stuffy train!

The crazy conductor, DJ!

Cadence cuddling all her stuffies!

Brianna with her favorite stuffy, Olaf!

And now it's nap time! Lol!

8. All of the grade 1 classes performed a song for us at an assembly. DJ was excited for me to come watch. I came and recorded it too so we could enjoy watching it later. It was so cute. I love watching him enjoy being with his class mates. He had fun!
There's DJ in the back with their little cat head bands!

9. One morning Brownie woke me up at about 6:00am. He was crying really loud outside. It woke Richard up too. We both looked out the window and we could see that he had some porcupine quills sticking out of his mouth. Later I went out and started my bus and Cooper greeted me at the door. He had about 10 quills all over his face. But it didn't seem to bother him. He was as happy as could be. But Brownie wouldn't move from the spot that we saw him at earlier. I ended up taking them both to the vet. Brownie had some quills in his leg and that's why he wasn't moving. They had to put him out and get all the quills out. He had 5 in his face, 2 in the back of his mouth, and 4 in his leg. Cooper had 10 in his face. Well we brought Brownie home and he still wouldn't walk and was crying. So Richard took him back the next morning and they found 3 more quills in his leg. He had broken them off so it was hard to see that he had 3 more. Poor puppy. He was not a happy camper for about a week. But now he's acting normal. No more run ins with a porcupine. Hopefully they both learned their lessons. Crazy puppies!

10. With all this amazing weather the kids have spent a LOT of time down at the creek. At one point the kids caught about 20 minnows and filled up our fish tank with all those minnows. Oh then they added about 3 craw fish. It was crazy. Plus the tank was a mess! Ha ha! The craw fish were BIG and gross too. Kind of freaked me out when Abbi came running up saying look at what I caught mom. She had them in a sand bucket. They were about as big as the palm of my hand! She was pretty proud of her catch! They usually come up all wet too. Even if they have gum boots on!
