January 1st, 2016!!

Since we stayed the night at my mom and dad`s it was a pretty low key day when we woke up. We got ready for the day and the kids were ready to go outside and play in the snow. It was super windy the day before but it was absolutely beautiful on the 1st. The sun was out and there was not a breath of wind!! Ha ha!!!

So away we went! David went and got the quad and I took the kids over to the ditch and showed them how to sled down. Well DJ decided he was going to snow board down on his sled. He`d stand on it and go down. He loved doing that and he got really good at it too!

David came by with the quad and the girls jumped onto the sled behind him. He pulled them around for hours. They all had so much fun!! It was a fun morning!

We had dinner around 2pm. Like I said before, it was a really low key day! I loved it!! When the kids came in their cheeks were nice and red.....so cute!!! We then hung around and talked and watched the kids play. Emmett and Keira kept us entertained!! So funny! We didn't stay too late. We came home so we could go to bed at a decent time! It was a fun day!
